Scoring

The scoring for PGLaps is based on Airscore which was written by Geoff Wong, available at https://xc.highcloud.net

Scoring Prerequisites

Each of the following is detailed further below:

  1. You are Set up on AirScore as a pilot.
  2. The task you have flown is available for scoring for that location
  3. You have a valid IGC file of your flight

1. Getting Set Up on AirScore

In order to submit your flights to Airscore you need to be configured once as a pilot on the AirScore system. To get set up, please populate and submit the AirScore Pilot Setup Request form.

2. Task is available for Scoring

Not all tasks on PGLaps are necessarily set up for scoring. The setup takes place manually and takes a bit of time. If you would like a specific task to be set up on your specific site please follow the Setup Guide, which also has a link to a form by which you can request the task & scoring setup as a paid service.

3. Valid IGC File

This is probably the easiest part. You can submit your tracklog in igc format from XCTrack or any other common flight instrument.
